@nflqt Quote from Ghiznuk: “Well, as you noticed, there is no background article at all in this Scroll, so it's not about you, it's just that someone decided that it was ok not to have any background in this issue, period. Hopefully next one. ”

Quote from SlaveToThePyre: “... So technically Orcs and Goblins may be different "races" while being the same species, for instance?... factions seems quite unexact to me. Orcs do not form a "faction", they are divided in many factions. So are the Infernal Dwarves and so on. ” Distinct species are defined when there is no possible fertile interbreeding. Elfs, Dwarfs, Men, Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Trolls, Giants, they are all different species. Different races are defined when the populations belong…

Languages of T9A
PostThat's a complex question with many implied developments. 1. Who are our current members? We can measure where the contribution to this forum come. And yes, that's mostly from the Western world - mostly, not exclusively. 2. Is there an untapped "market" in the rest of the world? Remembering that the Hobby is not a cheap one, but there are cheap alternatives such as paper pawns or UB, there are possibly hundreds of millions of potential T9A players worldwide, who have the time and the financial r…

Quote from Ozzy666: “...Yes, it *can* be used, but that's not the point I'm trying to make. Having models that just *can* be used is definitely not what I'm going for in a wargame, I want my models to actually look like the armybook entries they represent Would you say that this looks like an immobile unit consisting of 3 fighty R&F models? the-ninth-age.com/community/ga…0cc3ebe48f082d31dc4298d26 Best Wishes Ozzy ” Your model fits perfectly the mobile war platform concept. If you want your c…

Quote from Monsieur Ramior: “The compagny RGD lauch their kickstater of 28mm Hard Plastic Satyr and Scythians. The formers can be great for Beast Hard and the latter for the Makhar! kickstarter.com/projects/rgdga…stic-satyrs-and-scythians d2262bb8cde064339520bc68435c6858_original.jpg ae28402f1d9fb6455b901ad597b6902d_original.png ” I like how the shields look African.

Given how realistic BGT makes our T9A setting, there is no other choice than having planets, and having all of them on the same Ecliptic, and all rotating on the same direction. Only their number may be different from what we are familiar with. Also, we may safely assume that there is only one Moon, creating tides. Having zero or more than one Moon would impact so much the world's physics that it would create a BG mess, leading to physically erroneous descriptions for little benefit. Take into a…
