  • Those aren’t tails, he’s being chased by rabid aether-flux-eaerth-wyrms

  • Cruella is that you?

  • Quote from Marcos24: “Quote from arwaker: “The model is in fact awesome. No one will ever have objections when you use it for a trebuchet. Edit: The castle wagon just looks stupidly imbalanced (in a gravitational sense; it should fall over all the time) and the Griffon is just too large for my personal opinion. ” lol yes exactly, that little guy with the sword on the giant griffon. What could he possibly reach and hit with it? It's one reason that I think pretty much rider on a massive beast lik…

  • That’s why I’m here, inspiration

  • Lol just the response I was hoping for

  • Kratos has the right idea, I’d play both of those hands down

  • Quote from Giladis: “I think I don't have any rule preferences as long as visually the LAB ends more like 1950's Knights of the Round Table or Ivanhoe and less like 2010's Robin Hood or Ironclad. ” A Knights Tale with Heath Ledger or bust!

  • If you play slow and boring they’re alright. wait for it... pew pew wait for it.... pew pew wait for it... pew pew Charge his weak units with whatever you have left (have been able to bring back with Druidism) after 3 turns of soaking up your enemies spells, missiles and assorted ranged nonsense. Then scramble for objectives in turn 5 and 6. woooo

  • It was fun killing 24 Rats and putting 5 wounds on the pendulum with 2 shots on my first turn I’ll tell you that much.

  • Devils advocate: played a list with two trebs last night against VS. killed his plague pendulum and big unit of disease-rats before the end of turn two with 2 direct hits and 1 indirect hit . Easily 1000 points. who needs strategy when you can get lucky!?! (I think for the LAB I’d prefer cheaper and less effective trebs tbh)

  • Quote from ferny: “@Ludaman thanks - that's a lot of money but not completely unfeasible in a save up and plan kinda way, rather than spur of the moment purchase, especially at the lower end. It's not gonna be a thing just now, but I'm fairly sure there will be a time in my life where my wife and mother in law together are so frustrated at my lack of desire for any material belongings that they would gladly club together for a centrepiece like that. ” Get the lady of the lake miniature now while…

  • Which brings up an interesting question: if that guy who brought tuna-can sky-chariots to the ETC had instead brought spam-can sky chariots, would the forums have thought it was classy or would they still have been outraged?

  • Quote from arwaker: “Quote from Ludaman: “I think a fen/peat golem/golems is a good way to go for Fey Spirits perhaps. I’ve always liked both the GW fenbeast mini, and the Mierce equivalents. Along the lines of the Shamanism totemic summon, but turned into a unit with its own interesting mechanic would be something I would be interested in. d4a8e677649270db2c494f776ad31af6.png But maybe only for the peasant/witch/dark Equitaine part of the list (if their is such a thing lol) ” I really hope we n…

  • Quote from Traumdieb: “Quote from Chris.FR: “I play HbE. So I had a deeper look at the Lumineth releases over the last months. That’s why my hopes were extremely low ” well I liked the horse and spear mans. But Teclis is terrible. Cursed City reminded me of Mordheim and started nice with that witchhunter but also as an example that knight is simply a cross over from sisters or templars of 40k. Also I dont like that Kislevtheme and I see something else in Vampires. ” I’d say the cursed city is ab…

  • Quote from ferny: “@Ludaman - any idea what sort of ballpark a commission would be for the lady of the lake, as presented there? ” depends on who you hire. I think faces (and especially female faces) are the hardest thing to paint in all of wargaming, so over the years I’ve selected painters for my character minis based on which one’s painted female faces the best lol. Michał from LAN studios is one of the world’s best miniature painters (if you haven’t seen his Nagash golden demon winner, you s…

  • Quote from ferny: “I'm looking for a model with a specific set of criteria for a lahmia vampire: - Looks female - At least some armour (destiny's call) so not just robes or sheer dresses. For preference I'd like the entire torso armoured, not just crotch and boobs a la Witch elves. - No shield - Great weapon - Attractive vampire aesthetic (as opposed to Nosferatu type face) - Bonus points for a crown, but who am I kidding here. There's an astonishing lack of great weapon wielding female sculpts …

  • Well here’s my hangup with either tinker bell or the archangel Michael: 1. The army of human knights with Archangels flying overhead has been done to death already. Mantic does it currently, Heroes of Might and Magic did it, Joan of Arc (the tabletop game) does it, it’s a trope at this point, and feels weird attached to T9A. I’d accept it if the background team goes this route, but I wouldn’t prefer it and it would feel like we were imitating other games/background. 2. As I’ve said before, fores…
