  • Nice find- those heads are fantastic for empire troops

  • Only the god-forsaken dirty vermin hungrily reacts to a rethoric question, for which we all know already the answer. Their spies disguised as ambassadors may be unarmed or armed to the teeth. No quarter will be given anyways. Now please back to real fluff questions concerning the Empire of Sonnstahl P. S: @Eldan ninja'd my last post in typical vermin assassin fashion. • Quote from ferny: “What level of acceptance is there for necromancy within the populace, and within the elites (military, government, wizarding institutions and religious orders)? Are there any regions where it is less taboo than others? ” Thanks for all those fluff-related questions @ferny But this one I don´t get. You mean magic users, like wizards? As there is no lore of Necromancy in the 9th Age and "necromancers" are only employed by foul vampire counts, I expect them to be burned at the st…

@Just Wes well, Dan introduced the term orc looterz into the free companies to lure all those young 40k kidz to our superior system. It's a debatable and ruthless scheme, but it could work

  • The arabs will never forgive Lawrence of Arabia(front rank right) travelling back 700 years in time to join the christian crusade and slap them back in the face. But you have to give credit to highland miniatures, they rendered Peter O´Toole pretty good

Is contract killer burrowed from one of the other army books or your own design? Anyways, love the concept Also the other changes look good. Def and Off 4 is really low for a general, but I´d still walk that lane(18 " are worth it).

Quote from dan: “What would it take for you to try the siege mortar @Greentide? 4x4? Higher AP? Or would you have totally different rules to represent a giant mortar? ” The trebuchet is virtually a giant siege mortar, but still "only" 4 x 4 S 4. Also 4 x 4 S 5 AP 0 would have its merits. A real threat to seekers and ferals but bearable for armoured targets. One of a kind in the last figuration.

Quote from dan: “Give Transmutation a chance, it has a cool card now! ” Can´t argue with that Quote from dan: “I dunno I found it useful for its cheap casting value and versatility. While yeah, I can get +1 AP through alchemy, I can’t reduce the AP of incoming damage, which is useful especially when attacks are in that S5 AP2 mid-tier. To use an example from my own list, PW Ogre Highwaymen are way less scary if they’re hitting you at AP1. ” Right, you can´t with the available lores to the free c…

Thinking about the hereditary If I am not wrong, other lores have access to strength buffs/debuffs for the same or slightly higher complexity(meaning cosmo and shamanism) where the AP is already built in. While it's a homebrew(I wish it was a supplement..) and powercreep should be avoided over here, a little more puch/benefit won't hurt. Otherwise people will rarely take the hereditary I guess.

  • Quote from Honeym: “Any advice? ” You can watch his playstyle somewhat on his youtube-channel(although those are older reports). The two chariot heroes usually do the heavy lifting. If you take out/chaff those, a decent result should be doable.

  • Thanks for the quick reply- I like real finished models, no virtual stuff Great design, love most of the kickstarter content.

  • Hey, guys- I got a bit confused from the intro text if this is about SLT files or printed resin miniatures or both?

Interesting read, really like the simple not overcomplicated approach. Already fell in love with the orcs in core with nets I am wondering about the intended use of the siege cannon(maybe it´s the name which confuses me, it should tear walls apart). Its too weak(AP 1) to threaten cowboys and 3 x 3 can be neclected by infantry hordes, so it should kinda work vs. hostile warmachines and montrous infantry with multiwounds (2) ?
