My addition for the month: 10 beast breakers for my Dread Elves. Models a bit of a mixture of different things. I tried to have a mix of whip-wielding guys, models with shields and some that look like they are making noises to drive the beasts into battle. Makes sense to me at least! iOARCEv.jpg 3/3 Sheep X6UGCKI.jpg sKBfIYF.jpg And lastly a unit filler. Could be used for anything basically and is a 6x4. I got a cart from warlord games and as I was assembling it, it broke as is made of this weir…

Quote from LostCause: “And the altars are done! Amazing looking models that are gonna be soooo impractical on the table...but cool is the rule after all. With them done, I’m planning to try and make a start on my terrain project #MuchExcite imgur.com/a/gTgaceU ” Did you consider to paint/build them slightly differently to make it more clear on the table? I.e. "The Red altar does this, the blue altar des this?"

Quote from StoffenDK: “Ive been dabbling into demons lately. ulrik from ‘ammertime talked about a mesh of beast herd and demons using dryads, beastmen and nighthaunt models and I realized that you could use nighthaunt modes pretty 1-1 for a demon army! it also marks my return to actual hobbying since having a child! now pics: the-ninth-age.com/community/in…9232ed88f26787ea6f7bdf56ethe-ninth-age.com/community/in…9232ed88f26787ea6f7bdf56ethe-ninth-age.com/community/in…9232ed88f26787ea6f7bdf56e ” a…

I decided to repaint all the banners again to something more cool and 9th age relevent. No prizes for guessing where the design is from. I wanted to give the units a coherant theme without differentiating too much. So each of them have their own mon but its the same design that runs throughout. Tori gate from warlord games. Comes in layers which is a bit werid. but size is perfect. Also finished my 3rd unit of legionaries. Almost have a legal army painted now! bl2kCe1.jpg GlgDG53.jpg v0EGtLK.jpg…

This should be represented by noticeably worse stats, equipment, and/or rules. These should not be on the same level as other humans (e.g. lower off, def, dis). Any changes to basic peasant units should be to the down side when it comes to their eliteness." Re…

  • Quote from Girien: “ - I love to see the TL option for manticore. Bring hellebrone concept back. (I wont use it, but do you know the model...) ” Warlock + Manticore + heroes heart/lacerating touch on paired weapons and you are fairly close (new this update)

Beastmaster on foot. Little bit of a conversion from one of the Warlords of Erewhon samurai heroes. Think it works nicely. 70pWa21.jpg m1pPqo6.jpg

  • Has anyone considered that the leviathan is gigantic and you can use it to Block line of sight to your squishy elves. When you need to charge the fly movement of the leviathan should allow you to get it out the way.

Divine ALtar. Model from Titan Forge and the character from Warlords of Erehwon (slight conversion - you can tell that the weapon is not perfectly straight but the stave which the model comes with was either broken or impossible to glue securely so I pinned something more interesting to the hand). Ill say that I dont really like the quality from Titan Forge. The model required a lot of clean up and there are a few bubbles etc from the cast. I want to use the blademasters and komainu cavalry for …

  • Quote from LostCause: “Fit might be stretch, but it’s on! Had to do a bit of converting (mainly cutting out a pair of the horses) but I think it looks sweet. I’m often the first to complain about GW, but boy, those lads know how to make models. ” Looks great. But don't get charged in the rear!
