    Well, the popularity of this thread proves that there is something wrong with Immortals. To sum up there is a internal imbalance : - Lugar/kadims/Taurukh are much better to deal damages. - Core units are much better to fit the role of anvil and tanking enemy units. So there is some options to deal with it : - nerf the entire book except Immortals (I hope this willl not happen ^^) - boost the damage output of the Immortals - boost the tanking ability of the unit - reduce the cost of the unit and …

There is a lot of nice ideas here But this is my two cents : To my opinion, i see Immortals like an elite troop that was choosen by Ashuruk and they are like battle monks (like Lugar but from an other church). So that is my suggestion : - Same profile - Remove Whipspers of the Mask - Remove Fear - Add Channel (1) - Add "Blessed flame of Ashuruk" : Bound Spell (5/9), augment, Instant, range (Caster) : Raise (5) Health Points. - Add Fearless (beacuse they dont fear the death ^^) - B…

  • Some ideas to make gunnery team playable with the actual design.     It's very weird that a Nezibkesh Themed army with a Prophet of the god of Fires of Industry have... less Meca and artillery than the other churches because of the Prophet that takes one slot of FOI

  • Here is my suggestions after a bunch of games with the first update. Note that it is not exhaustive because I simply have no opinion about some units that i have not playtested.   • After around 20 games, testing Immortals, Bastion and rock crusher tank, I concluded that all those units were just Ok and not the best choises in the actual meta. Moreover, in terms of internal balance, there is much better to do. Immo are more resilien but not stronger than another elite infantry. They have serious problems against huge blocks with parry or spears. Bastion is a huge point investment for small bonuses (you can have another unit of Blunderbuss instead of one Bastion).   • Omg so much winning here for no reason about external balance. If you want a constructive debate, you should compare ID units with similar ones from the other armies. I read a tons of winning about the rockets launchers. But remember that it costs at least 240 pts. For 245 pts, you have an Imperial canon that ignore cover and have 60 inches range. With an engineer it hits a monster on 2+ in short range. The only way to counter the Canon is hiding your monster behind a hill or an Impassable. The …

  • Hi everyone, First of all, i really really enjoy to play the majority of the new army book. I really appreciate the fact you can choose your church with the Prophet, how you can personalise our guns and the plenty army build we can do. I made a half dozen of games (in UB tournaments or agains friends) with differents army builds.
