And here one of my gorgons. Currently, my favourite unit of the whole army book. I LOVE them. This scheme is a lil bit different but, as you will see later, it will be follow by some of my harpies (not all).

Tonight Im posting the my Dread Judges, from Black Tree Design. I purchased them two years ago in an old miniature store that I found by accident in north east Spain. Theorically, they should be the Obsidian Guard but I use them as the mentioned Judicators. Also also, one of my raptor units.

Today I felt like posting pictures lol. This is my Kraken. That light blue is the main theme of all of my monsters (including raptors, hydras, thunder packs, krakens hides, etc). I had to edit the photos a little bit because unless I take them in the morning with sun light (its reining here), it is difficult to get the proper illumination in my room (they all were kinda dark).

Yeah, it sounds like a good idea. I used to deploy 2/3 before the Alpha (the old Dread Reapers) and perhaps I still see these Batteries as regular bolt-throwesr when they don't play exactly that role anymore.

Today I post my two repeater batteries. Ironically, I purchased the "oldest" one few months ago. The "new" one was bought around 2004-2005. As you can see, there are some quality differences between them due to the time lapse between both paintings (1 year or so, maybe more). These fellas used to see the battlefield quite often but now they have no room in my current roster (low-medium range plus movement ability plus round base is deadly for mediocre players like me lol). However, I use them in…

These are one of my units of Shadow Riders. I guess those conspicuous colors are the reason why these fellas usually die in T1 magic & shooting phase Due to the DE LAB now I deploy them in units of 8 in order to fullfill core. However, last week, in a Tournament, I used them as a 5 vanilla men unit and they did a TERRIFIC job. Props for them!

Good morning, guys. Let's see some more minis. First of all, my second Temple Legate. This lady is the Battle Oracle (the Divination one). I don’t know what color divination is about so I decided to use blue because I like blue and I think that's a good enough reason

Quote from setrius: “I like the colors that you use in your models. If you see my old models looks like they are going to a carnival party. That is all ” Hahaha, that's something that Ive heard many times as well

In spite of needing to post my other Temple Legate and the Warlock Outcast, let's see now one of my basic units. The Auxiliaries/Crossbow men. They are made with the standard GW ones but I added Dark Eldars heads, Eos Flagellants/militia weapons and the GW Eos Heavy Infantry shields in the back. That vermeillon red and that emerald green are going to be my army basic color scheme.

Here you see one of my two Temple Legates and a Legion Legate/Dread Prince. This “blonde” is the War Smith (Alchemy) one. Since Alchemy is about molten metals, embers and so on… Well, some sort of bright yellow represent that idea (at some point). She doesn't work too much because I usually prefer the Oracle Battle that I'll post later. This mini comes from the GW Altar of Battle. The other pal comes from the Anvilgard box. As you will see later, his kraken cape follows the color scheme of my me…

This is my BSB. It is made from the beastmaster of the old GW hydra (the skinny metal one) plus the standard from the GW shadow raiders. This was one of my first minis painted after my return. As you will see, it is painted drier (and worse) than other ones. But it is ok. I like her like that because many times beauty is inside (she fell dawn from the shelf many times, that's why the pole is twisted, poor gal). Ill try to take better pics next time. They are kind of blurry.

Ill do follow the classic structure: characters, core, special, raiders and menagerie. We have here an assassin (old GW Shadowblade I think, which I sometimes use it as a character on foot). Pretty standard, tho. But pretty greenish and reddish. I like red because roses are red, violets are blue, it wasn’t my first choice but dark colors on my DE are taboo.

Hello. When I got into thishobby around 2004I startedwith a Dark Elves army. I played and painted for 4-5 years or so. Then, I quit and committed with other stuff for a decade. However, two or three years ago, I started again, this time, in T9A. By that time, when I opened the shoe-boxesI was keeping my old minis,I didn't rememberthat AWFUL painting, nor the horrible and sloppy red and dark blue color scheme I used plus the unimaginativeGW influence: DE should be dark; just likeHBE should be whi…
