  • Definitely interested in it, but... 1. No more space in the apartment 2. I already accumulated far too many models, the few i still buy i can get from 3D printers at my club or online. If 3D printing has been what it now back when I started, is definitely have invested 3. Toxicity of materials and all. Kinda linked to point #1. That being said I do try to find reasons to get into it, so there's chances I hop into it when I have a home.

Quote from Davian: “For beastmen, I have suggested a -1 to wound modifier on attacks directed at them I think with elves having +1 to wound, beasts having -1 to get wouned is not too strong. And it also gives the herd a resilience boost over the board and still being unique. ” The Dev Charge (Res +1) on goats echoes that actually, under the fluff aspect of charging head first with their skull being extraordinarily strong. But recently I've been thinking of changing it a bit, and make it so all a…

  • Love the idea, and it comes fleshing out an area that is quite unexplored in Homebrew! For the models I'm sure there is quite a bunch for 3D printing with keywords like Khajiit (elder scrolls) or Tabaxi (D&D) for instance.

  • Plugging in my guide :D There's a good portion of it that is specifically meant for TTS

Loving the theme! As I'm late in my work it'll be very short right now, just a couple of points: - Ship doctor: I could see a flavourful, bit random rule there: what about he can heal say "1 to 3" HP on any model, but for each HP healed this way roll a D6: 1-2: "(eye)patched!" Off/Def -2, 3-4: "sailor peg!" Adv-1"/Mar-2", 5-6: "captain hook" Att -1. Potentially with some stuff for worse effect when rolling twice the same "tradeoff", or also putting in some benefits (Discipline-related bonus for …

Whoever has booze can hire the guy, and the Prelate forbade its people to drink in battle... he had no choice! (Or rather, I just use the same first couple of ranks for each unit when I take the pictures :D)

So here's my human-centred take on the Hangman Forest battle that is currently unfolding (spoiler: Tottenhammer's troops will be slained ) Tottenhammer's trespassers the-ninth-age.com/community/ga…36eca674a097e39f2ed4d24c2 Forest defenders the-ninth-age.com/community/ga…36eca674a097e39f2ed4d24c2

Ah ah! Back with a couple patrols, again totally legit. SO the previous KOE damsel got denied a horse and resigned. The only other wizard around was busy leading a Sonnstahl patrol, so a new damsel had to be recruited - and it is one of my first non-GW models! the-ninth-age.com/community/ga…36eca674a097e39f2ed4d24c2 And straight out of the forest... There's bows, there's grownsih things coming from the tress, and probably a druid. Here's an...

  • Hello there and good day! Your opinion is needed on a few elements that have been pondered upon for some time now: 1. Core: Is it better to have Levy + Soldiers (either as two distinct units like initially or through an upgrade as currently), or simply have a single "State Soldiers" unit that would just pick up the soldiers statline? The Levy/Soldier thing comes from historical + some hints in the fluff, but gamewise I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense since the "regular soldiers" aren't exactl…

  • Reiters with a Brace of Pistols! Love the guys, nice to play, can harass and turn around bulkier units chipping wounds off and can be surprising on a charge! Just too bad my regular opponents shoot them to heavens at the first opportunity, but that leaves other units intact at least

Aye I actually noticed it after the picture, but since I only have 1 mage on foot that'd be the same as the EOS leader (I'm concerned some people might make connect the dots between this KOE patrol and the EOS one) - so I'm actualy painting a couple more wizards! One for KOE and one for the next "repurposing models" patrol

Ah yes considering my painting motivation these days you'll likely take the lead! I actually don't use a lightbox for the patrols, just a bunch of papers against my computer screen!

  • I could update the post this morning, thank you if this was thanks to your intervention... and sorry for the disturbance if it just resolved by itself! That was odd and only seemed to impact a single post. Might have been a conflict with some draft answer stored or the post already pending an update, no idea - bottom line is, the problem is solved!

  • Quote from echoCTRL: “The hardest but most rewarding step is when we kill off our own darlings. Well done. ” Yes! While I was at it I also did a cut in the stratagems and items to bring their combined complexity on par with other books items and special upgrades (traits, honours, etc.) by removing what felt off in this army. This new version is then a significant evolution from the last, working on both simplification and flavour! Just uploaded a hotfix correcting a couple fluff snippets and ref…

  • Quote from piteglio: “Idum - brilliant! do you think we could showcase a battle using the models you scanned? i dont mean including your models in the mod - just loading them to play your own match. you should have a very respectable collection by now. which models/faction do you have? ” Sure! I'd be keen to learn how you managed the movement trays, the solution implemented in the EOW mod is much sturdier than the simpler one I used (which is basically putting sticky points on a rectangle). For …

  • Hello there! I encounter a problem when trying to update the 1st post in this thread about the Tsuandan homebrew book. As I edit it and insert the link to the new version of the book, when I click on submit it send me back the following Error Message: 500 Internal Server Error nginx/1.18.0 (Ubuntu) I tried editting the last post in the same thread after encountering this issue and it worked well, but still no success with editting the 1st post. I had never encountered this issue before.
