  • It’s an excellent video. You should use it for PR once you release EW being out of alpha/beta.

Quote from Alexwellace: “Complexity, is a strange concept to get our heads around. It's nebulous and means different things to different people. But our goal is to make each individual Sin feel over-all less complex than the DL book, due to having less variability and a more cohesive objective. At a high level, the book may look more complex due to trying to fit in 7 individual army styles into a single book, but on the table and at the list-design stage you'll notice you only have access to 1/7…

So we still have those problems?

  • Quote from BondageGoatZombie: “The wiki is actually exactly that, but there's the problem that it's marked as "unofficial". So I do not know if the person writing this actually knows the background or just made the info up, as per his interpretation of the primary T9A texts. ” Well the wiki is quite well done listing its sources. Whether or not you take the time to double check those sources is obviously another thing and completely up to you.

  • Quote from deadbuc: “Quote from Nemeroth: “Quote from Pellegrim: “You are right. Then perhaps it's the fact that everything reads like reading a letter someone written. Guess if you're into that stuff thats awesome. I know I am not into it. EDIT: like I said in my first post: A for Effort :-). That has to be clear. ” In-world sources are project policy. ” Out of curiosity. Why?Why was it chosen to go that way, and not a mix, or just a standard omniscent narrator? ” Basically because @Pip Hamilto…

  • Quote from DanT: “Although actually, I did most of that series when I wasn't staff... which kinda shows that the centralisation aspect isn't needed. Community members can do those "how to build a local scene" things. ” Agree! In parts it’s even a problem for the project success that we bind many of the most active and engaging community members as staff on project development topics, rather than letting their engagement unfold in their respective local community.

  • Quote from DanT: “For many reasons, like the many other things that staff/the project are worrying about doing, but most importantly because I think local, not global, solutions are needed. And the project cannot deliver the local solutions that everyone needs. ” I generally agree. But we can global support local efforts. For instance provide a „how to build a local game scene“-guide based on the experience of other community members, who have done the effort in their respective local scenes.

  • We don’t need to compare to any other system. When the project was founded, our goal was to be able to continue to play the kind of game we love and had invested so much time and money. To be able to do so long term we need at least as much growth for the game and the community as we have player lost due to life and age. To be frank, I don’t think we are there yet. But growing rather than slowly shrinking still has to be the goal if we want the project to succeed. No matter what other systems do…

Not really... But an educated guess is that we have globally roughly three to one players to registered users.

  • Quote from Traumdieb: “Because AoS is a bad game compared to T9A yet it attractes way more players. I was suprised that so many people playing it since the last rule change. ” I don’t think it’s a bad game for the audience it’s targeted towards. And given the fact that, that very audience is just bigger than those interested in an complex game such as T9A, it’s no surprise it has more players.
