  • Do ambush units need to follow the unit spacing rule when they come on? Or can they be up to .5” so long as their move takes them outside 1”? To me it’s clear that the placing of the unit and the movement are two separate movements as you deploy all successful ambushers at once, then proceed with step 3 of the movement phase sequence which means the ambush unit does not need to move immediately, but have had people disagree.

Something I think would be cool is sort of a how to for greater demons. So go through each one and discuss what it does well and what its failing are, what it pairs well with, and the way it generally affects the macro approach of the army. Could be good timestrapped videos too as you dont have to do them all at once. You could do 7 short videos whenever you have the time, or perhaps more when you dont have time for a longer idea. A Seven Sins of Bobo series if you will.

Quote from Baldin: “Ye I agree. I love maps like the Farm (B4). But playing them in the tourny feels bad. ” Ive played on B4 twice at tournaments, and to me it never felt overly unbalanced. The hill is in a good equalising position for the south compared to the cover/wall distracting of the north. I think it likely exacerbates some RPS between lists, but reasonably balanced lists I think can play B4 without a significant disadvantage. @marcema other than how powerful trappers were on B4, how did…

The spell can only be removed by the method described in the sp…

Still working out the kinks - audio could be improved and it took me a long time so I think a better program for it would probably speed things up. So without further ado, my game against @The Kremlin. ( @DanT ask and ye shall receiv…

  • Quote from Squigkikka: “That seems strange, since the intent of the Rune was to allow multiple stacks of it. How long ago was this? ” Maybe two or three years? Im not sure. My memory of it is being surprised by a revelation from someone (perhaps even you) that it could be stacked. And then later the change being made to stop that specifically. And the current wording is unambiguous that only one can be used at a time imo.

  • Quote from Squigkikka: “Quote from Sander: “About mastery, it can be combined too on a bsb with a wisdom banner i presume? Can you take multiples per char? ” Yep! You could use 3x RoMastery on one Bound Spell for a +6, or you could have a BSB giving +2 to the spell for three phases. Up to you! Biggest downside it eats into Talisman territory and slots, and BSBs have some really good ones to pick from there. ” The wording was changed a while back to prevent this unfortunately. Now the rune specif…

  • Ive never read a proposal for chess clock rules that I couldn’t find a way to exploit tbh. And Im just some reggo normster, not a tricky ETC level brainiac. So its just a matter of whether people want to accept the inevitable negatives of chess clocks in order to address the time problems. To me, it sounds like its likely to just be trading one set of dodgy strategies for another. But as Dan says, really its just up to communities and their TOs. I doubt the project would try to legislate somethi…

I reckon new book is hands down better to play against than old DE. And that’s as a BH player, which is an army that really suffers from a lot of the changes.
