    All armies being the same (or very similar) is the reason I didn't stick with Kings of War. Different is good, every army needs to have it's set of strengths and weaknesses. This set of conditions for DE does not necessarily match my view of how they should work at this time, but as long as we actually see progress to distinct strengths in the vien of elite infantry I will be satisfied.     ok folks, been away from this thread for 6 - 8 weeks and upon my return I see the same issues raised from the player base time and time again. So what does that mean - The team has failed to remedy these concerns. Full stop That's it, the team may not like the suggestions coming from the player base, however it appears it has done little to alleviate these concerns.     So, we are now on page 90 of this 1787 post adventure, have any of the community proposals been taken into account? If so could we get a brief synopsis of what has been or how it has been implemented so we can see that we are actually getting somewhere with this exercise. Or if we are just spectators yelling from the sidelines like the days of old.     so are we allowed to talk about what seems to work for WAP or is that a no no here? No need to reinvent the wheel folks, it seems that if we wish to maintain our dread elf heritage we should lean into that a bit heavier , I mean harpies in core is a bit daft, however there are still good design fixes that have already been done, but may go against guidelines.

  • ok so dont kick me out of the game, might be a bit outside of the realm of possibility , but since we will always be on the short end of the speed and movement spectrum could we introduce the idea that we give the Dwarven holds an AWSR where they gain a free pivot in addition to a charge reaction or a free pivot before declaring charges? May be wayyyyy out of the scope of the dwarves , just trying to figure this big problem out.

  • regarding steadfast, could we add a banner to cancel it? 0-1 choice of course, limited to certain units , or possibly double or triple the actual ranks in the unit. No additional combat resolution, but just when checking for steadfast.

  • can anyone link the 9th age fluff saying we are keeping with the lady of the lake thing? Not to worry anyone or any group needlessly but I haven't been able to find it in the setting fluff. And if we are writing our own fluff who is to say that the lady does not use winged messengers, being held to bodies of water can make it hard to get around.

    could the blades augment an aegis save for cc only, have them start at 6+ and add +1 for every augment or hex to max 4+ , and maybe make the blades have different abilities , let's say weapons master to keep it simple.
