  • @dan I was referring to 0-45 models per army, not per unit. 20 max size of Rangers/Miners/Forge Wardens is quite OKish. With 0-45 models per army and 0-3 units one can field 3x15 or 2x20 which is awesome...

  • @Omarcomin For me copters are as of now dead. I feel innate bad for even thinking about using them because of their price...

  • I will repeat myself once again we need (if thinking of improving power level of DH army): 1. Miners 0-3 0-45 models. If there are 3 miners units we can make really hard preassure on secondary objectives. 2. Rangers 0-3 0-45 models. Same as miners. 3. Forge Wardens 0-3 0-45 models. Just for symmetry 4. Vengeance Seekers 0-3 / Grudge Busters 0-3. We need some target saturation of our toys. Neither VS, neither GB are strong enough to be game-breaking when taken x3. 5. Some c***p Runes should be 10…

  • @Keller I think the only problem with 'C' for mounted characters is that it is not written in BRB that when you make army list your combined character replaces 'C' with corresponding value. On army list. Eg. Dwarven King on Throne has Armour C+2 means on armylist 4+2 (+2 is important as it is modifier).

  • I see once again we come back to same s*** (stuff) about Locket of Sunna... From the beginning of T9A 2.0 it worked always same way: EoS character on eg. Chariot was giving R5 to opponent. This always was caused by simple sentence from Rulebook: Quote from BRB 19.B.3: “The Multipart Model has a single set of Global Charac- teristics and a single set of Defensive Characteristics. Always use the values in the mount’s profile, except when that value is “C”. In this case, “C” refers to the value in …

  • Quote from Gingersmali: “I have a thane with 3x runes of lightning he his fighting 3 units, he get to attack I put one hit on each, I hit with all of them (I'm a gamer) I do 9d3 hits right? ” Yes.

  • Quote from Just_Flo: “I have a Thain with a rune of Fire and 2 runes of Lightning. I activate the rune of fire. Do my additional hits from the rune of Lightning get flaming or not? ” Unfortunately no. Interpretation here is that Rune of Fire says attacks made with it gain Flaming Attacks. But word 'attacks' means here CC attacks not Special Attacks which are hits from Rune of Lightning

There is one really big difference between Crown and plain Channel - Crown gives you knowledge ahead of time. If you leave some tokens + generate additional from Crown (+ have channel) you know from beginning of your turn that you do not have to worry about flux cards 1-3 which give rather dull magic phase. ps. All this comparison makes of course only sense for Crown versus Talisman of the Void. Upgrading apprentince to adept is so dirt cheap that beats both of those items

Quote from Lagerlof: “Quote from Warpfodder: “Pricing on the new crown of hubris seems wrong. As has been said before the general price for Chanel (1) is 50 points, making a wild assumption that the caster lives, that’s Chanel (6) across the game. ” Yeah I agree, I played it as you could use the Tokens in the same magic phase and thought the item was great Then I realized my mistake, and now it feels too expensive since it does nothing in the first and last magic phase (unless you also have +1 t…

  • Quote from SlaveToThePyre: “How frequent are Gunnery teams in the lists you see around? Honestly I have seen a very few in play. Most of the lists I see and play have 2 Big rockets or Big Mortars and a Naptha or Combat Train. ” I think current design for GT is that they are one time use: you take it once for event, feel disappointed, put on shelf I'm super sad as I especially modelled GT Flame Thrower :p.

  • Quote from slivek: “accept it: there are borders to deployment zone. You just can't see them john-cena-you-cant-see-me.gif ” It can't work this way. Because then rules are self-contradictory. You must choose one or another interpretation, but mix of them makes general rules do not work to describe simple situations.

  • Quote from WoeRie: “If I attack with a Catapult and have the small The Stars Align cast on the catapult does it mean that I have up to 4 to hit rolls? 1) Normal Hit 2) Normal Hit ReRoll 3) Partial Hit 4) Partial Hit ReRoll Or does the partial hit already count as a reroll? ” First of all: you can't re-roll missfire. Second: I think you re-roll in different sequence: normal hit, partial hit, nornal hit, partial hit. This is because pair of shots are single shot from catapult

  • For me only and reasonable solution is to change description of deployments to use 'at least' then 'more then'. This changes a little bit our game: 1. It is possible to shoot between units touching deployment line. This is OK as player who do not want this can still deploy 'just behind the line'. 2. Long charges are also possible - but can be same counterplay as above. 3. Deployment zones follow general rules for inclusion, touch, etc. Without degree in mathematics.

Quote from Cam: “Quote from Omarcomin: “Because there is no kiss/curse mechanic to it now. If you have flaming then great - you turn it on when it suits you but if you have something like ForgeWardens who have a ward against flaming attacks then you can never take advantage of it because your opponent will never activate the flaming banner. It's silly that you can have all the advantages and none of the draw backs. Choices should have consequences. ” Agree with you but the precedence is set in t…

  • Quote from Kriegschmidt: “That seems an unnecessary complication. ” Not at all. You have 3 options: 1. Allocate attacks (in CC) - you wound pool you allocate against. 2. Distribute hits (ranged, special melee) - follow rules for hit distribution 3. Hits/wounds on per model basis (DTs, focused spells, etc) - you wound pool related to specific model.

  • Quote from Nasion "Demon": “Quote from Lagerlof: “Quote from Nasion "Demon": “In this case of 2hp champ in unit that take dt test, do you has to roll champ seperately? ” Yes characters and champs always roll their own DT. ” even if champion has same hp as rest of unit right? ” Yes. There is difference between eg. shooting and DT. Shooting is distributed on RnF wound pool an champion can't be targeted. DTs are per model basis. So champion (and characters) can die from DTs.

Quote from grungimusic: “Our cannons should 100% have the option to purchase either divine or flaming that can be turned off. Next time you finally hit a hydra with your cannon, and don't roll a a 1 to wound (which statistically happens 50% of the time) and the Hydra HEALS A WOUND, remember my words. Or you buy flaming for your cannon because of hydras but your first opponent is ID, remember my words. Or the next time some some demon-monster- flying-rules-creep-thing barrels down your flank and …
