Man, this thread is on fire with the memes @dan will you be providing the input for updates to battle scribe via a pull request? (or anybody else for that matter, I can guide you how to do it, it doesn't hurt, I promise). Unfortunately I have quite limited on time right now, so any updates to Free Companies BattleScribe will be slow.

Guys, you know that politics are off-limits in this forum. Please don't make me do cleanup duty again. @setrius If you want your DE army to be really evil guys, nobody stops you from envisioning a legion/expeditary force whose general is a cruel sadist who revels in the pain and agony of his victims, regularly feasts on the flesh of his captives and commits atrocities left and right. Just don't expect the whole faction to be the comically evil you want.

Quote from Khadath: “- Pyromancy allows you to do damage that can protect us from shooting damage, which would give us a kind of protection while being 100% in the directives (offensive magic, not direct protection), more interesting than alchemy. ” Which is a purely mechanical argument and @Giladis right before this post mentioned, that T9A designers do not want to give such a tool to DE. I don't think anybody from RT, TT, or any other function game design related doubts that Pyromancy on DE wo…

Quote from lol.lobest: “Going back to the magic issue, I think that it should be approached in the context of all the three eleven factions. DE (the bad guys) get access to cosmo, Evo, occultism and thauma SE (the forest/nature guys) get access to Shama, druidism and witchcraft HbE (the good guys) get access to divination, pyro and alchemy All of them (elves) get access to cosmo. Or any other combination, in case the background/balance elements suggest differently. But this should be the scheme …

Quote from Wesser: “I dont even know why ” I think I do. A while back @Girien posted a sample list which was kind of a blueprint of what he looks for in a Dread Elf army. It's packed with the elements he likes and has none of the stuff he doesn't like. I can certainly see the allure of playing such a list, as it is hard to play right and offers a million options for the player commanding it. It is also kind of an anti-thesis to the teams efforts to promote rank and file units and tone down on th…

Quote from rolan: “Problem is, perception of srength is auto-include, twisted effegy depends on opponents army, and curse is only a useful choice if the heirloom isn't used. So instead of 1 we would have 2 useful spells on them with blades, and it would actually be choice to make. I have yet to see someone pick ancestral aid with acolytes, and Imyself didn't put them in a list because i had an cosmo master with heirloom, so no appealing spell selection left for acolytes. would it really be so ba…

@Gerfaks Regarding the spell selection of the Warlock Acolytes: The team agrees with you, that Spectral Blades would be more powerful. Since spell power is a concern with the book, the team purposefully decided to go with Ancestral Aid to prevent the Acolytes from becoming more expensive and/or too powerful. Edit: Clarification: Spell power is not a concern with the whole book, after all powerful spells is a design goal for the whole magic phase. The issue is specific to spell power of the Warlo…

Quote from Cam: “It’s completely nonsensical to me. ” Your inability understand or unwillingness to listen to explanations on basic logic is not anybody else's fault. The topic of Occultism, Daeb Sacrifice, and the Hereditary has been discussed at length and you got all the answers to be expected. Unless the team decides to re-introduce Occultism in an update I declare the topic to be offtopic. Postings on it will be moved to an extra-thread (if I am feeling particularly nice) or deleted (anytim…

Quote from Khadath: “It was refused because it would bring too much complexity to the book? ” Yes. The team looked at the initial familiar mechanic and decided to "save" some complexity budget and spend it elsewhere instead. Remember that during the time this decision was made "too high complexity" of the ID LAB was not "a", but "the" main criticism towards the LAB process. So the team naturally focused on finding lower complexity mechanisms. Quote from Kriegschmidt: “This sums up why the whole …

I am writing regular feedback summaries. We do however need to consider the following: - The forum here is only a tiny subset of the player base - The forum here are the DE players, we have to consider the whole game - Players unhappy with a specific thing write a lot more than those happy with something - Fe…

Quote from Peacemaker: “Fluff wise it would go like this: ” Yes it could. You can write anything after all. For now the fluff of Dread Elves is that Dread Elves are fine sacrificing slaves (see DE background supplement), but would never consider sacrificing a Daeb Elf. That is quite a basic principle on which BGT built the Daeb background. Why you would needlessly and for doubtful reasons topple that and send all BGT so basically re-write the whole faction is a little beyond me though. Seems you…

Quote from duxbuse: “Or have DE wizards suddenly become more divine than the others. ” I do not think that a being has to be more or less divine to perform the act of divination. I think it is more about the name "Oracle" which is almost the definition of someone doing divination.

Hi everybody, I recently started playing Raid Shadow Legends. As the game has a very helpful clan feature and I do not know anybody yet who plays it, my question here is: 1. Is there already a T9A clan? 2. If not, anybody interested in joining me? If you think about starting the game, you can get a referral link from me, then I get some nice goodies. But my actual advice would be to look into one of the newer videos from Rav: youtube.com/c/Ravlol as he promotes the game and if you join the game …

  • Quote from mattia.takeshi: “error: armour equipment “destiny’s call should be “Cannot be taken by Large Constructs or models with Towering Presence”, while in battlescribe has a different limitation. ” What do you mean by that? That's the targeted implementation. You should see an error when trying to choose a mount which violates that.

I hope you are not surprised, if nobody can act on feedback like this. Let's have a look at Dancers of Yema design: * Blanket Strider everything * Very tanky in CC due to Aegis (4+) * Mediocre damage output * Comparably cheap, played in big units mostly * Wins combat by continuously creating small victories I know the Dancers of Yema were very popu…
