    I know i've banged this drum a few times, and you folks have generally been pretty respectful, constructive and helpful in this thread recently, but I would just like to mention that the responses over the last ~18 hours show a key t9a difficulty: not everyone wants us to pursue the same goals, or prioritise things in the same way.     We know people are impatient for ID to be gold We are trying to wrap it up We are close to finishing the design changes for the final update. Hard deadlines will cause more problems than you realise I think. For example, volunteer projects can lose weeks just due to real life events for the volunteers. Heck, a book can get better at winning without its eliteness changing.
