Way too many special rules - they feel oppressive to play against. - Academy trained overlaps too much with EoS parent - support interactions - +1 to hit AND +1 to wound is atrociously strong - Suppressing fire on an already amazing unit is too strong - Gorgons have too many special rules - Mist leviathans are amazing at protecting the army from shooting AND they have terror??

1. Artillery (especially cannons) is far too inconsistent and expensive. Volley guns are the least effected by this issue due to the number of dice they (can potentially) roll. 2. KotSG should have a 1+ armor save when equipped with a shield 3. The army struggles to play wide across the field. Mediocre to poor leadership forces you to keep important units too close to the general / BSB. We need more options to expand that range

Quote from oreogolem: “I should tattoo the "Classification of Attacks" flow chart on my forearm. ” I know it's not necessarily my responsibility to make sure my opponent knows the rules...but there's no worse feeling than telling them "um actually your Greybeards don't get shield wall. These are melee attacks not close combat attacks" and seeing them just deflate. Like I get that these things exist for balance reasons but it can be so blatantly un-fun sometimes...

The distinction between melee attacks and close combat attacks makes no sense and I don't understand it's inclusion. The examples that come to mind are broodmother and smothering coils only triggering on combat attacks but not melee attacks. No one in my local group would have picked up on that distinction if not for one member who has religiously studied the rules.

Quote from Lakson: “Quote from Arosy: “Hope that STank will get a 50-100 point increase... ” And what if the Empire falls down to a bottom-tier army again? Don't like it? Don't play it (and yes, I've seen your lists, and I know you don't play it, good for you), but don't wish to ruin lists of other players... ” Based on what was said in the Community Feedback thread we're almost certainly going to see the tank go up in price. I'm just hopeful that we'll see enough (useful) things go down in pric…

Quote from Phosphorus: “I keep reading chickens, greatswords, stank, artillery...but no one mentions our core infantry duds (no.shooty) .. IF there is one main problem with EoS , it is STILL them...just, very few field them (or who plays more then one big unit ...and not to mention the detachments), Alas...I don´t think there can be anything done for them with just pricing. ” What do you think needs changing about our core infantry?

1) Light infantry with handguns need help 2) Great Weapon IG feel bad (expensive?) compared to the sword and shield variant 3) Artillery is expensive for what it does** ** I've actually had very good results with the volley gun playing a bunch of 1500pt games on a smaller (4' x 4') table. It's much harder to avoid in those situations.
