The OK Board regulars in my experience never really tried much to influence the updates. Or they were generally very happy. Of course that impression was from what I got given from my predcessors so it might be wrong.

Do I understand you correct and if the Giant would be adjusted ruleswise to have an armour and to be more "Mercenarylike", that you would be less against the new name? For me it seems, that if the name change would have been accompied with a small design change, that than it would be less disliked. Is that correct?

I see no reason why if oaided/asked nicely enough for it the giant would not put on chains.

Enslaveing a Giant used to be seen as a big undertakeing which needed might and a strong will. Since the Giant Supplement we know that Giants dont need to be beaten into Submission but are very eager to please their new friends. So enslaving a giant is nothing anymore which proofs ones worth. It is like enslaveing a child. So no proper Khan or Great Khan will Show his might by doing it. Of course if the New friends ask the Giant to wear chains he will happily do it.
