You’ll be blowing peoples minds with that postItems / skills in this game are priced assuming good utility. In case of this roster, utility of every single item is diminished - you don't use arcane power and meladys at the same time, and you use neither when casting from MoCT.Can you explain me this ? i don't understand the point you gave to all of this. Book isn't 100 ? Book 60 and Asfad 90 ? is this a rhetorical thing in english ? I am sorry, maybe i sound like a noob but i really didn't understood.
Therefore it is equivalent for items costing more.
I think the concept you were trying to explain didn’t translate well in your words & points
I’ve understood your rationale well, you’re trying to provide a point assignment to the diminishing returns factor of overinvesting in magic.
If that’s the case you should deduct the original points cost. Otherwise it wouldn’t make sense to say you overpaid 140pts on Meladys when it costed you only 100pts. Instead, you would have to say that you only get a real value from BoM of 60 instead of 100pt. Therefore, 40pts due to diminishing return investment. Right?
Using your values & concept for reference, the overpay cost in magic in @Ganon would be more like 40 (BoM) + 20 (BoAP) + 110 (Asfad) + 85 (mage) = 255pts.
So, using this subjective approach, the equivalent of saying that out of 1295pts he invested in characters he would only be getting around 1050pts worth of value. Does this describe it well?
