Hey all, I decided to share my painting process of my DH, VS and OG armies. This actually started already about 2 years ago, but i only recently established a proper site for the blog after mainly posting on the finnish Sotavasara.net tabletop gaming forum.

Right now I'm painting up a unit of Orcs and earlier this week i tested a colorscheme on a dwarf model:

Yes I have quite a bit of models already painted, some of the pictures are in my blog such as these pictures of my Cave Goblins

Next I will probably just continue painting the Orcs, I still have half of them left, and that includes finishing the two command groups.

Quick Update - painted a magister (its the one on top of the rock). I just now also finished painting a 1250p DA army for a small 40k tournament but now its time to get back on track of continuing painting my T9A armies.

Thanks! It would be fun to have a bigger themed campaign or a game with these someday once i get to making more terrain. Right now I'm playing a campaign with Mighty Empires rules and 9th age rules for tabletop battles with my VS.

We made it up ourselves by combining it and just using the same points values as in WfB. It would be great to see some campaign system like this to be developed for 9th age specifically someday.

First command group is painted, i also assembled the third one yesterday.

Next 30 orcs are soon to be finished, but i painted this veteran standard bearer as a break. Switching to warcolours.com's brushes really helped a lot to improve my freehanding over finer details - which is great since the dwarfs will call for more elaborate designs in their flags.

Painted dwarf units so far. The ones with lighter bases are by me a few years back, and the rest are from an army deal i bought a few months ago. Lots of models to go however until the dwarves can stand up to vermin swarm and orcs and goblins! I am gearing towards a purple colorscheme, and i tried painting another test model this morning, by tinting the blue sleeves purple.

Jezails, added some detail to the 3 converted models i already had and painted 3 additional metal models.

Thanks! I guess I could just go with the blue theme, I'm still experimenting with different hues of purple and heraldic combinations with white and red.

About 60 Orcs painted now, but I'm not done yet - there's still more left to be painted!
