because we know that you are eager for the new ID book, starting from today we will post a thematic 4500 pts list everyday during 7 days, so you can see the new ways for list building that 2.0 will bring.


We will call it "7 Days, 7 Lists".


Infernal Dwarves is a very unique army, a mixed force like no other that offers tons of opportunities for thematic lists.


Let's take a look at the first list:



INFERNAL DWARVES: THE MIXED FORCE






Prophet Adept Pyromancy, General, Shield, Lamassu Adept Witchcraft, Gravity Horn, Basalt Plates, Infernal Weapon
Basalt Plates provides +1 armour and Fireproof. Gravity Horn is Channel (1).

Vizir, BSB, Great Weapon, Steel Skin, Steel Charm
Steel Charm allows to reroll one failed armor save.

20 Citadel Guard with flintlocks replacing shields, Musician, Captain
10 Infernal Warriors with blunderbuss, Shield
10 Infernal Warriors with blunderbuss, Shield
20 Orc Slaves

24 Immortals, Champion, Musician, Banner

This list is a good example of the cool lists that ID will be able to field in 2.0. A good mix of shooting, magic, cheap greenskins, daemons, monsters and angry dwarves.


- Prophet Adept + Lamassu Adept offer a wider amount of spells to choose than a single master wizard. Also this model in combination with Gravity Horn give us 3 tokens every turn (1 extra magic dice per phase).
- Strong and varied shooting: blunderbuss, flintlocks, gunnery teams, bolt throwers and titan mortar.
- Orc slaves will increase our model count on the table and will act as chaff or counterchaff when needed.
- Immortals with Vizir are the center piece of this army, a hard to break block specially after the enemy suffer some heavy casualties from our shooting.
- 4 single models ("monsters") will add a lot of threats on the table. The new giants are very fun and rewarding to play. Titan Mortar Bound Daemon now can apply Earthquake Shells that synergyze with Witchcraft attribute (if the enemy dont march to avoid the DT test, they want move much).


Steel Skin is one of our reworks that was pending a reveal. More stronger than it previous incarnation, let us easily reach 1+ armour on characters even while using a Great Weapon.


Steel Skin - Cannot be taken by models with Towering Presence. Suits of Armour enchantment.
The wearer gains +3 Armour. Attacks against the wearer with Lethal Strike and/or Poison Attacks lose these Attack Attributes.



What do you think about the list?
What is the unit that you are planning to field first in 2.0?
Will these BRB items or the new Steel Skin see play in our army?

Remember that we aren't trying to build the most competitive list here, that would be up to you when the moment arrives.
Im sure players will surprise the design team with their lists.

We will try to show some thematic lists with BRB items that could be useful for us.

I've playtested almost same list against an empire gunline and managed to win, pyro + witchcraft was perfect against their warmachines and low armoured shooting, while I could just ignore the mortar.

This list is more shooting oriented than grinding oriented. Still giants have showed for me to be good at grinding, their big wound pool and Rage mechanic + CoA can give some good moments.

Sorry but still cant talk about prices. Only will say that each weapon has a different a price. The strongest will be more expensive. How would you rate our weapons from top to low? Im curious.

Percentages havent changed. This list is close to max B&B and Barrage.

Flamethrowers havent substantially changed, but they may be a bit better.

Why no more fan the flames? Its still there. Its just that it has many chances of being changed for other effect in the full rework, but not yet.

I've played them in every formation, but lately mostly or 5x5 or in 7 formation with good results, not as unmanageable as a full horde.
Not sure about the new line formation, the biggest problem I've faced with Immortals were unkillable cowboys, losing the rank bonus will only aggravate this problem.
