It sounds like you are starting the game seriously outmatched.
Firstly by a player who is clearly extremely good, and secondly by the fact he is using Seekers (a unit that basically never trades badly in combat). In fact Seekers against an almost completely close-combat oriented army sounds like a game I wouldn't even want to play.
Have you thought about using triple Cyclops? Their divine ranged attack should mincemeat them on a clean hit.
But, you brought out something important which I forgot to mention..
You are absolutely right.
I feel the same way.. that I wouldn't even want to play against him time to time..
But I became a better player playing against him and I also make sure my buddy never scores less than 17 pts against other BH players in GTs. - So, it's a Win-Win for both of us.
I hope you do understand the Seeker army comes with Vanguard. Usually march on turn one, and turn two, they are right up in your face for charge. Cyclopes will have one chance to throw their rock. Two, if you went first.
The important matter I needed to point out.
- It should not be this way.. Difficult match ups are fine.. Every army list have some bad match ups, right?
But if you feel you have no way to win however you build your army list..
Something must be done in the unit entry section.
Seriously, I am done. I am out~
