Im a little torn, on one side I would love for you to get done and play against such a beautiful army, on the other side, if this army is at the tournament, mine is gonna look like sh!t, when the judges decide on paint score.Play like a orc - win like a orc

 Hellmaw: 1 Ominous Gateway
Game 1 was against another WDG list. He had a doomlord and 2 wizards (evo master and alchemy adept) and the better of our two lists in my mind. He also had hellmaw and was better at using it than me, which basically gave him a 20-0 over me. My dice weren't exactly helping me either. As an example, I charged my 10 warriors into his 10 warriors, striking first because of the charge. With my 15 attacks I managed 1 wound...on my own unit due to spiked shields. He then killed 4 more and saw me running for the hills.
Game 2 was against a UD newbie. He was quite scared of my portent lord, and rightly so since he had none of the really scary UD toys. At some point during the early game I put my 20 warriors with portent lord forward a bit too far. He declared charges against it with big chariot unit, 6 shabties and a giant and they all reached me. Luckily, since it meant that the chariots could only connect with one. His few impact hits did nothing, and then my lord went to town on the shabties, doing 10 wounds to them. In my next turn the chariots were flanked by chosen and general, spelling the doom for the chariots and shabties. But the giant was suddenly out of combat (I didn't direct any attacks towards him) and could flank charge my small warriors and wizard! But in the end I managed to table him and get the objective for a 20-0 victory.
Game 3 I faced a Daemonic Legion army. I felt it was going quite well in the 2 first turns, m 2 lords charging out and taking out units. But then my dice failed me and his were on fire. He cast several spells using only 2 dice but getting casting values of 11+ and I was unable to dispel all the key buffs to his units. In the end he had more points than me, but I secured the objective for a small 11-9 victory.
Game 4 was against O&G. The game started by me being a bit unlucky and him being lucky. His 23 upgraded savages showed my 20 warriors and portent lord how to fight and I had to take a break test on an 8, which I failed by rolling 10 and 11. From there it was a race to get back into the game. Somehow I managed to scrape back some points, but he was still in the lead. But most importently, I got the objective and ended with a small 11-9 victory. I was beginning to see a pattern emerge
Game 5 was against beastmen. He was a very nice guy and we had a very interesting game. My dice were again failing me hard and in turn 4 it was looking bleak. However, I began to scrape back some points by clearing his chariot general (who had been on 1 wound since round 1 due to alchemy spell) and 2 gortachs. Again it ended with a 11-9 victory This time not due to the objective, though, since we both managed our secret mission.
So 4 wins and a big loss against the player who ended with the most battle points. I was aiming for an average a bit higher, but with those dice rolls in many of the games, I can only be happy with the result!
