A discussion thread for finding alternative models for Warriors of the Wastes or sharing experience with them. What do you use? What do you like? What would you like to warn us about?

I have however zero experience with the army myself, so feedback from people actually playing it would be very valuable to me.

Im working on some 3d printed designs, im very new with it atm but im hoping to make some for my orc army and will make alot of chaos designs also. There is a thread about this under "Painting and modelling"

I'm using the mutant lord on snail model with a modded nurgle hero on a platform on the back as a maulerchariot. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's such a cool model! I think you did a really good job on the post!

This is my version of the troll for the warriors of the dark gods. It will have a variation of 3-4 models. The 3d printed version is not yet cleaned so kinda hard too see the end result.

I will soon own two Khorgoraths - any ideas on what to do with them?

I was planning on using them as Fallen Beasts at first, but I think they might be too large (they don't fit on 40x40), so I might use some unused maulers instead. (Got 3 chariots but only one of them will be a maulerchariot.)

I use him for Bloodbeast. He fits perfect on 50x100mm.

I already own a Slaughterbr...errr...Bloodbeast though.

I might give one of them Wings and use as count-as Daemon Prince, and either sell the other or keep it as an extra (because once in a blue moon, that double-6 on the eye of the gods-table will come.

Shieldwolf have another KS running now (shieldmaidens vs orcs)

Has anybody tried to rank Bloodwariors from AoS on 25mm bases and rank them up? For Chosen of Wrath ie.

BloodWarriors are a little too big if you ask me. If you successfully base the model on 25mm his arms are too wide and can't rank and file them properly. You could use them as fillers, two of them on 50mm base or any other shenanigans like use height to align them in ranks I suppose?

There was a huge sale in local shop (who would say LOL) on AoS stuff. So I bought a box. Said I'll use them as AHW wrath bastardz of Favoured. But now I'm like, wtf how will I ever rank them. I had a tough time rank metal Favoured. But these guys are bigger and wider.

It's the only AoS product i like so far :

It's not easy to rank them... i have to rebase some of them, but it's not impossible... you need to think about that right from the beginning.

I'm using bloodwarriors as my wrath-chosen with adhw as well.

Ranking them is a bit of a pain, but it's doable.

I'm also using bloodreavers as my wrath-barbarians.
