More or less the entire WHFB Chaos Dwarf culture project on CDO has been backed-up by copying it over to the Ninth Age in this, the Other Games section, for your ease of access and overview. Most of it is written by me, and most illustrations are courtesy of our very own skilled artist @forgefire! I've written out all authors, artists and voice-actors where they are others than myself. As to those stories, fables, songs and so on that I've written (and illustrated), they're self-obvious: No "Written by" because it's me posting them again.
You have unlimited full permission to copy wholesale, tinker and tamper as you like with material penned by me, no need to ask for permission etc. if you find anything useful for Infernal Dwarf background story purposes, or something else entirely.
To get to grips with what this creative endeavour is, think of it in this way:

Chaos Dwarfs Online has long been a creative hobby hub, attracting creative folks to an odd niche where having the army left out in the cold by Games Workshop only spurred on the hobbyists to come up with their own stuff, whether it be art, background, rules or miniature conversions. Chaos Dwarf collectors have very long made due with their own means, and built upon their army themselves, embellishing it and giving it depth and many new concepts true to the spirit of the Warhammer Fantasy background.
So when Games Workshop left the entirety of Warhammer Fantasy out in the cold, the Ninth Age formed. And the Ninth Age is basically doing what Chaos Dwarf players had been doing for years, just on a larger scale and for all factions. There is as such much relevant to learn and take note of as regards the methods and works of that creative hobby hub, for T9A is treading in footsteps already trampled by Chaos Dwarf boots. This include - but is not limited to - such things as subforums for conversion tutorials, Wikis, dictionaries, army books, specialist game rules, art compilations, contests and stories. Part of my idea-flinging on T9A has simply been the import of tried and tested ways of doing things on CDO, where many hands and many minds have worked together for many years to give shape and meaning to the demented concepts embedded within the Dawi Zharr:
The oppressive slavers and torturers. The cruel sacrificers and religious fanatics. The insane inventors and ravenous industrialists. The hellish conquerors and breakers of will. The lords of terror and worshippers of fire and. The monstrous forgers of Daemons and mortal souls alike. The dark sorcerors and secretive mystics. The megalomaniac monument builders and baleful geniuses. The fallen ones, corrupted ascendant:
The Blacksmiths of Chaos.
This is our offering.

Here below are all the Chaos Dwarf culture project compilations, so far. For those who haven't already, do check out this salvage haul and link compilation for the equivalent in pictures of miniatures, artworks and reference images.
But now, hunker down for story time in a fantastic world that once was...
- Chaos Dwarf Songs
- Chaos Dwarf Quotes
- Chaos Dwarf Short Stories
- Chaos Dwarf Monumental Inscriptions
- Chaos Dwarf Proverbs
- Chaos Dwarf Fables
- Chaos Dwarf Prophecies
- Chaos Dwarf Religion & Life
- Chaos Dwarf Myths & Legends
Also, MadHatter's Khaozalid dictionary (which started the Chaos Dwarf culture project in 2014) is a good source of inspiration, although less relevant here given T9A's linguistic team doing it the thorough way, Tolkien-style.
It's fitting to mention Nicodemus Chaos Dwarf expansion for Warhammer Quest, and Thomas Heasman-Hunt's final Chaos Dwarf army book for 8th edition of WHFB is a must-read!
See also Carven Images (CDO 2007-2017) for this creative hobby hub's community modelling & painting work, as well as Chaos Dwarfs Through the Ages for official Games Workshop and Forgeworld concept developments through miniatures.
Cheers
