i mean, even if it's "just" a mini-game or a base-adapter,
it's good to see that instead of End Times they're now releasing Fun Times...

Some of my mates are playing AoS. One of them just told me older armies like the Chaos Dwarves are rulewise still standing on square bases.
So maybe just a rules update to make every army stand on round bases? -

my single biggest grievance with gw is scale creep - If new minis are going to make my old minis from the same army look ridiculous, what do they think I’m going to do? Chuck my old ones in the bin or not buy the new ones.
My second grievance is the round bases. They do not “look cooler” as per the highly subjective opinion compulsorily downloaded into the heads of the redshirts. Regardless I would never rebase an army to suit some possibly temporary whim of a manufacturer. If they can squat WFB they can squat AoS.
I wont be playing AoS but I dont object to it as a game (I just cant bear all that individual movement and measuring and individual fiddly rules) but if they want me to buy minis they should stick to 28mm heroic and offer square bases aswell.
I mean I would have bought Archaon but thats a straight 90 odd quid I didnt give them cos he’s an absurd 40mm scale.
Still Kevin Rowntree seems like a sensible guy. Let’s see. -

maybe instead of O&G you could play Goblins & Goblins, with pre-creep goblins on 20x20 and postcreep goblins on 25x25

GW license T9A as its new flagship product. You heard it here first
You can find an elaborate plan for brand acquisition, seems like Warhammer is going to produce edible miniature for little ones, maybe these things are connected. IIRC a joint venture with George Weston, sorry I don't remember exactly for I am not very much interested. -
