I say, if objectives must be so important (not imho), then leave the no free-reform restrictions : to give all army the same possibility.
+2/-2 tournament points for objectives is too much

Yeah, if you can move in and claim with fast cav and free reform (or fliers) that makes the entire control bit bad. Anyone thats played 40K and seen 1 turn 36" boosted jetbike claims knows exactly what it means. 18" fast cav beelining across the field makes the exact same thing, no fun for anyone and extremly lacking in strategy.
SE has many scoring units now, choosing not to use more then 1 or 2 is not really a fail on the part of their book. -
It says units with free reform rule cant claim it, if a character joins them and they lose the free reform rule, cant they still not claim it?
-
The unit still has free reform, they just cant use it.

hehe before I say that I like the missons but if you play with the 10-0 system in the rulebook I undertand that you think it´s bad.
I just play a 2500pts game that I loost with 100 pts and then he got the missons. In a 20-0 system It would be like 13-7 or 14-6 and thats ok
but since he played the rulebook system it was 9-1 to him.
So ofc it´s bad if you play with that system but why would you ever want to do that. Just play with the 20-0 system and it´s 500 pts diffrent if you loose the misson so it´s still alot of pts but not so insane like in the 10-0 system. -

How the heck did you get from 5:5 to 9:1 with objective ?
Did you count perhaps each objectives ( the one with 2 marker ) as single one??
You still only get +2/-2 at max even if the enemy holds both and you zero
If both holds 1 no one get points.
To get these sweet bonus points you need 1 more objective secured as the enemy. No way to get more then 2 points -

If you are using the 10-0 system BRB says:
Calculate victory points as normal, except that the Secondary Objective is not worth any Victory Points but instead modifies the result directly by giving the player that won the Secondary Objective 2 additional battle points, and the player that lost the Secondary Objective loses 2 battle pointsRevere the ancestors, obey your king, bear your arms with pride, fear no foe, hate the Greenskin, mistrust the Elf, and you can do no wrong. -
I quite like it, now I actually like going 2nd to secure the objectives at the end. It balances out against going first and taking a huge missile/magic barrage and returning fire with less. Hate those games where games can be decided with who goes first, this evens it out.
