Hello everyone!

Today is a very special day for us as we launch Flea Market, a storefront for digital downloads on MyMiniFactory (MMF)!

Flea Market is a creative collective (you may know us from around the forums as @Hombre de Mundo, @Little Joe and @Thunderforge) who work together to improve our 3D modeling skills. We each bring something different to the table and as a team, we achieve a lot more than we could on our own.

Because profit is not our main objective, we believe that we can take time creating things that are rather niche and in many cases T9A-specific. Our launch lineup is a good example of this, as we have a packs of gaming peripherals for each faction. Examples in the spoiler:





If you like our initiative and want to support us - there are many ways to do so aside from purchasing our models and I’ll list those below. Trust me, all these things help a lot:

1. For MMF users, upload a photo of your prints and give us a follow. You can also leave us a tip on MMF if you want to do that.
   
2. Follow us on social media: Facebook, Instagram.
   
3. Join us for our first community event!
   
4. Interact with us here in this thread. Let us know what you like, what you don’t like and what you’d like to see us make/do going forward. At this point, anything is on the table. Boxed games? Maybe! Models for your homebrews? Possibly! Taking over the world? Eventually!
   

Finally, let’s talk about some of the goals we have with Flea Market, aside from making models:

1. Promote T9A to the wider audience on MMF and promote 3D printing for T9A.
   
2. Tournament prize sponsorships, either alone or together with a print shop. If you’re a TO or print shop, hit us up in a PM!
   
3. Expanding the team. With more people we can do more and bigger things. If you’re interested in joining us, either as a digital sculptor, concept artist or similar, just send us a PM!
   

For those last two, we might have to sort some details out before it can actually happen but it’s always good to start talking

In the first update since our launch, we have four new objects and this is a good representation of the variety of stuff you'll find on Flea Market going forward. Before I show you the goods, I actually have a little comic about one of the things we made:



This comic wasn't actually that far from the truth and also shows a bit about how we cooperate. In this example, we discussed what kinds of wheels we'd like to see, went over some examples and decided to make a variety pack. And I insisted on making a square variant.



So, the first item we have for this update is a pack of 7 wheels:





These wheels were designed to fit the same standard and measurements that GW used, so if you have old carts or chariots laying around, these will fit nicely. Except the square ones. I imagine they'd mostly be used for crazy goblin scrap builds where a pre-made hole might not fit the scrap, so you'll make your own.




Next, we have two unit fillers or terrain pieces for the Highborn Elves:




The first one is rather straight-forward and works great for both unit fillers and terrain and is easy to scale. The flat top allows you to put your own arcane items at the top. The second one is kind of an evolution of the first. This is a brewery and comes with a couple of accessories for all your brew-making needs and is obviously quite a bit fancier. We imagine that they HbE players will find a good place for both of these among their units or on their battlefields.



Finally, speaking of fancy: We made a fancier iteration of the cosmology coin from the previously released army packs:



Not much to add about this one. It's a fancy cosmology coin. One side is cosmos. One side is chaos. Increase your fancy level by using this coin!


Oh, and all these items also come with pre-supported versions as well (except the obelisk, it doesn't need supports).

Not a bad idea. Given that two of our members are staff with insights on LABs - however - there are limits to what we can do in relation to books that are newly released and are non-generic (unlike faction logos). So if we do end up doing something like that, it might be a while before we can actually put them up.
