Guess that might just be Hunters Honour maybe getting de-nerfed.
Quite a few people are adamant this is not the case... so guess we shouldn't get our hopes up huh?

The problem is that doesn't really result in much forward progress, and it gets exhausting after a while swimming against the tide to stand still with a lot of things (and sometimes a few extra) left broken, and be grateful for it, though it is appreciated compared to the alternative all the same.
That sounds more harsh than I probably intend, though it's been true enough in the past. Let's have what it is out before we get too excited either way I guess -
The News TAB is open for business! Go watch

That's a significant buff to the whole army!"Woe then to any that creeps uninvited under the grand canopy of the Dark Green for never shall they emerge again"

i have no idea what you re talking about folks... can we have a link or something please ?

**will repost after I double check the arcane Compendium is out**
I want to challange the SE community to use the new Spirit of the wood, and feedback to us their experiences.
Spirit of the wood was changed, explictly, to help us retain our double wood spell synergy with Thickets and Dancers. All the while gaining 6" range, the ability to cause DTs on opponents, and the ability to pre-emptively deny steadfast. Those are HUGE utility buffs. I'm gonna be testing it a lot, I think it has a lot of utility, specifically on front line mages like dragon druid or TFA.
And also, who isn't absolutely enamored with the new Sylvan Archers prices? Try out
17 Sylvan Archers. Musician.
18 Sylvan Archers. Musician.
2x5 Heath Hunters.
1125 on the dot, 45 shots, 2 scoring units 2 chaff.
I'm really excited to build lists around this core, it's exciting to feel like I'm getting a good deal for core shooting. The post was edited 1 time, last by Alexwellace ().

@Wesser
I have to thank you for your invaluable work for this final patch update. I’m sure that most of the changes here have your stamp on them in a way or another. This was an excellent piece of work from the team and the project!
Finally I feel SE are becoming on par with the other armies since my ETC to go list got about 200 points cheaper just with this last update and if I count the previous one as well it’s almost 400 points. Basically I can fit one unit of rangers -
I'm in the same boat, but a third of those points are in core, so unless you were way over core before, you're going to have to add some models in core and not have enough left for another thicket beast.Musical Theme for Sunna

You can't cast it on an opponent who is already in combat, unless you have throne up, but you CAN cast it on an opponents unit BEFORE it reaches combat.
So let's say the opponent has a horde of peasants/goblins. You walk a treeman in front of that unit. If you cast spirit of the wood on that horde, then if your opponent charges in his turn, unless he has forest strider, his unit won't be steadfast. -
Well, quite better balance patch than the first one, necesary return to 75 points to hunter's honour, and generally low prices for all units. But don forget that the Treefather is still more expensive than last year. Honestly, I do not think we will leave low tier, that is very difficult and it does not patch with a decrease point for units. But hey, today we are better than yesterday, so it is OK, we will test lists and games with this changes
-
Wow, my list got 112 points cheaper. Looks like it's Christmas, round 2!
-
Same here, bit over 100 points, but unsure whether or how lists get adapted.
Not that my silly list cant make do anyway mwahaha

Mia the decrease of the eagle and eagle additional models a joke for the HBE community?

By the way chaps.
Been asked to delay posting the changes on paper, but Ill add it tomorrow, but feel free to discuss in the meantime -
To those that say this patch don’t bring enough weight to make us better in the tier list I want to remember that 100 points for us and 100 points minus for top tier armies means a nest of 200 points which is more than enough to balance the army externally.
In addition internal balance has also got better since rangers, kestrels and thicket beasts are now comparatively cheaper than before.
