A bit of documentation on the character above. Ive had a long time away from the hobby but wanted to get back to it, so i did a competition with a friend to try and challenge ourselfs with a single model paintjob.
First of I decided that I wanted to do a character of infantry size, that boiled down to doing a character which could swap between BsB and without it (Eventhough the bsb flag isnt finished yet hehe).
First of I picked the bits for my build. All bits are from GW kits. The main body and the base is from the bloodthrone pack, the shoulders, cape, chestpiece and chinguards are from Arkhan the black kit (Aswell as the basis for my future standard). And lastly I used part of the body of saurus oldblood on carnosaur, aswell as the headpiece of the carnosaur as a shield and the left arm for swapping when using standard.
Fused the chest of arkhan with the lower torso of the bloodletter aswell as using the back and tail of the oldblood for a rather unique bloodletter look
Once that was done I looked up a pose that I wanted to my character, and a levitating angel pose would look sweet I thought, something evil and sinister aswell as calm and calculating.
On to my colorscheme, I went with what ive been using for my myrmidons, a purpleish red, which goes over to a slight pink when highlighted. That mixed with gold and blue steel nmm for metals and a fire theme for both weapon, shield, base, torso and head.
Once finished it looks like this, and in its future unit itll look as follows
Looking forward to share more finished products. Cheers -

Phenomenal paint jobs. Can't say i'd change a thing.
Do you have more pictures? I find it almost hard to believe that even something as lowly as a hellhound gets a paintjob that sweet. -

Awesome to see your work again! Fantastic stuff as always
Especially impressed by that Hellhound. The highlights on the exposed muscle make it look so shiny!T9A Oddjob
