For example blacker veterans that have 5+ armour save in combat but 4+ against shooting. I guess it works the same way as UD Godslayer weapon, but there is clearly clarified.

So RAW, when a close combat attack with lodestone is allocated towards a model with Arm 2 and a shield and a two-handed weaopn, the shield is not being used because the attack is not a ranged attack and the target is already using the two-handed weapon (RAW it starts using it right after the start of the first round of combat, and continues to do so until the end of that combat, see 21.F.a.1 Choosing a Close Combat Weapon).
So in this situation, the attacker does not benefit from lodestone RAW.
