About Me
About Me

How old are you?

Where are you from and where do you live right now?

I'm from the UK and living in London. But I'm in the process of moving to the Czech Republic.

What do you do for living?

I'm currently an Ombudsman with the Financial Ombudsman Service. From to be a teacher.

Since when are you in the Hobby and what armies do you play?

I've collected and played wargaming with my Dwarfs since before I was 10.

Why do you support the 9th Age project?

Like most I think I got into this game because of the Horlicks GW made of the game I'd grown up loving with the End Times and AOS.

But I now support the project because I can see it doing great good for wargaming in general.

First and foremost, it's just a great game with a commitment to a community led balancing of all armies. That's just awesome.

But more than that, I believe it can create and support jobs in the gaming community. Whereas GW kept everything in house, T9A can involve smaller entrepreneurs in modelling, and eventually maybe in writing and the wider gaming creation.

What is your personal role in the 9th Age project team?

I'm one of four DH ACS. I'm fascinated by the opinion of others on DH, not just other DH players, but equally importantly, the opinions of other army collectors in the community.

I believe DH presents the 9th Age with unique problems because of traditional playstyles and traditional mindsets that are endemic to many DH players. I want to be part of bridging the gap between what DH players and the wider community believe DH can and should

I believe I can bring ideas, not only of my own, but more importantly from the DH community that will maintain engagement and excitement in the 9th Age despite the challenges it faces.
