About Me
About Me
Name:
Neil

How old are you?
34

Where are you from and where do you live right now?
Originally from north-east England but escaped over the border to Scotland for University and have been in Glasgow ever since.

What do you do for living?
I'm the 'IT guy' for a small charity, which involves a bit of everything! So as well as looking after computers and networks etc., I also deal with websites, graphic design and publications.

Since when are you in the Hobby? How did you get into the Hobby and what have you done since then?
I got into Warhammer 40,000 as a kid with a friend of mine, and collected and played for a few years. Mainly Orks, with a detour into Tau. After falling away from the game for a while, a couple of years ago another friend dragged me back in, so I dusted off some of the old models, bought way too many paints (I have a problem!) and carried on from where I left off.

I became aware of The 9th Age through some friends who play and contribute, and while I've yet to make the leap to actually playing T9A, I'm not ruling it out!

Why do you support the 9th Age project?
A friend asked me if I'd like to get involved and help out, and I couldn't resist. As a hobbyist designer, this is a very fun and rewarding project to work on.

What is your personal role in the 9th Age project team?
I joined the Layout Team to help out with the production of the Full/Legendary Army Books, and we'll see where it goes from there. There's a lot of wrangling with layouts in Scribus, pretending I know what I'm doing with Photoshop, and programming some scripts in Python to make it all less painful.
