About Me
About Me
Jason, or just Jase.

How old are you?
I'm 33 years old in the year of the 'rona.

Where are you from and where do you live right now?
Born and bred Down Under, I'm currently residing in Shepparton (a large town in Victoria) and Melbourne.

What do you do for living?
I'm an Intensive Care and Emergency doctor by trade.

Since when are you in the Hobby?
I've been into miniature hobbying since I picked up a copy of the old Warhammer 6th Edition starter set when it was brand new in 2000 - I split it half-half with my brother, and took a love in beating up his puffy-shirted Empire soldiers with my dual-wielding Orcs =)

How did you get into the Hobby and what have you done since then?
I stumbled across an old GW store in the late 90's and fell in love with the concept of fantasy miniature battles, and despite some intermittent time away due to real life events, I've always maintained at the very least my 'hobby corner' - a safe place where I can whittle down a few hours and create something special.

Which armies do you play?
My first love is DE, but I have been known to dabble (fairly heavily) in SA, SE, and VC.

Why do you support the 9th Age project?
I think that this project offers something that has been missing for a long time - a competitive, fair, and continually growing rank and file fantasy game with an immersive history and storyline. It brings people from all walks of life together over modelling, painting, background writing, artwork, competitive and friendly play, and it's a great community to be a part of!

What is your personal role in the 9th Age project team?
I've recently been given an opportunity to join the GDT, so I'm looking forward to some creative work and being a part of this project in a new and exciting way!
