About Me
About Me
Hi all, I'm your friendly neighbourhood VC community support, do come in: we bite.

Some little about me:
  • Where are you from and where do you live right now?
I grew up in a big old crumbling manor in the middle of a forest in the darkest Scottish countryside (not kidding). Now I live in Glasgow, Scotland.
  • What do you do for living?
I am a microbiologist with specific interests in bioinformatics and environmental applications for engineered organisms. I also have a literature degree specialising in English Language and Gothic Literature (there's really only one army that's appropriate for me)
  • Since when are you in the Hobby?
Started in the early '90s, Fourth ed WFB. Took the usual hiatus in my twenties and came back about 2014 in time for everything coming tumbling down. Hoping to help raise T9A from the ashes.
  • How did you get into the Hobby and what have you done since then?
When I was about 6, my older cousin had some classic 80s skellies and I was mesmerised. Collected huge armies of Chaos, O&G, DE, 40k and literally anything else that company spat out at throughout my teens.
  • Which armies do you play?
VC and only VC at present, though I have my own homebrew stuff I like to play about with.
  • Why do you support the 9th Age project?
As a community effort that is not-for-profit, it has the potential to be something truly unique - that's exciting.
  • What is your personal role in the 9th Age project team?
I am an Army Community Support member so my role is to help out on the forums, answer questions, generate discussions, act as a conduit for the spirits communication between the T9A staff and the community at large and generally help make the VC forums a fun and interesting place to be.
