Undying Dynasties is the collective name used to define undead populations or armies bound together by a common destiny and/or origin. While other undead usually comprise unwilling souls forced to inhabit a corpse or vessel, members of an undying dynasty more or less willingly chose to adopt or adapt to undeath. They share a sense of being bound to a common purpose and of preserving a stronger sentient consciousness, intelligence and independence compared to other undeads. Such dynasties can emerge through divine or magical necromantic means strong enough to keep such numbers tied together.
