The latest issue of the 9th Scroll is here! You can read all about it in the news.

Our beta phase is finally over. Download The Ninth Age: Fantasy Battles, 2nd Edition now!

Von Calisson,

As you are aware, the Gold Edition you have seen is only the Slim one. We're still working on the Legendary Gold Edition.
Once it is delivered, we will be happy to see it printed by a supporting company, for all the fans to get a nice quality, hard cover copy.
And here is the best: you've got a chance to see pictures of your army included as examples.
StormRider Games final call for contributions to the printed Legendary Gold

The Final Call

It has been a year since StormRider Games have been launched. For the last year we have been working to prepare publication of the Legendary Edition of The 9th Age: Fantasy Battles. We have been promoting the game through social channels and hobby media, contacting artists, collecting your opinions on what would you like to see in the book, dealing with lawyers. We have been also running the Community Competition for those who would like to see their army in the book. We have received many pictures of outstanding armies. It is your last opportunity to submit your own army for the competition. From 1st of March we will accept no more entries for the Army Show competition, having to focus fully on crowdfunding preparation.

Here are some pictures of elven armies taking part in the Competition:

You can vote to armies by reacting to posts on Stormrider Games facebook page. Links to posts with all competition entries can be found on our page under Army Showcase button. Competition rules can be found in StormRider Games Community Competition thread

This week, we also received an update about handy bags to carry your collections from home to tournament and - hopefully - back.

Hey guys, could I have this new post from my thread posted in the news?

Hi Folks!

Haven't been-up-to-date with keeping people up-to-date about what's happening for over a month, so high time to rectify that!

We've finally released the 9th Age Army and Legion Sets, which are the same as the Overlord Sets but with 9th Age bags. Check them out at these links:

On the custom orders front, after a bag I made for a 9th Age Player from France (hi Mael!) which he wanted to take on flights arrived at his club, two other Ork' N Azes members decided they wanted their own. So here are some pictures of bags for Nhlyll and Edelrath,
against a backdrop of my (not so) glorious workshop:

The 3 Ork N' Azes bags are all slimmer versions of the Overlord bag which fit the requirements for carry on luggage on AirFrance. Here's a photo I posted before for visual proof:

Since I thought that was a good idea, I made a more generic version of the slimmer bag. It's also red but only has the regular ShapeShift logo.
It's called the Red Baron:

It comes with narrower trays that match its lesser width - 23 cm instead of 25 cm, with 21 cm wide trays. It's available in Army and Legion
Sets, just like the standard bags. The big difference, however, is that you don't get metal plates with the Red Baron sets. Instead, true to its
name, you can get red trays for the same price as black ones. Check the sets out here:

There's also a video review of the Red Baron done by Ash Barker
from Guerrilla Miniature Games. He got trays in 3 different colours and
mixed them all up, and he uses Warmachine models in the video. So that's a bit less 9th Age related but maybe we can get someone in the community to review a 9th Age Set at some point? Here's the video:

As always, I'm looking forward to your comments!
