    I think its a good model, but those 4 attacks can easily miss. Im more a fan of the Taurosaur with a shamanism adept on top

    I played the ranked javelins back in 8th, and it was not “good” in itself, but the effect of having massed poison from all the skirmish units also was something. Back then saurus were also a lot worse than they are now - cause now they work quite good.,Actually a lot in the army is quite different. It was also under other Quick To Fire rules, which was massively abused. Now its harder to effectively abuse it, since its not given that you are allowed to stand and shoot.     Yeah survivability is number 1. I feel like you can play the Quatl better in the middel of everything and the TG can still fight support units of combo charge with other unit. I like it better than having 15 skinks standing in the back with the Quatl.

    I like the 15-16 TG unit. Used to play it with Alchemy, since they are really good with 1+ Armor Save and the Path could really help them against High Armor opponents. Now that I try divination, I am not sooo sure about them, but I will try to test them more. They are still a good support unit and are really hard to shoot of the table.

    Try the Lone Quatl a few times. If you like him, then keep him like that. If you don't like him alone, just split up your skinks into two units of 15 with muso and run him there. He can jump between the two units, and then at least one of them can still be used as chaff. Eventually by game turn 4/5/6 you might find that all Quatls can run solo of you have eliminated all ranged threats against him. This is however easier said than done, and depends on which army you are facing.

    I think you get more value by putting the cuatl in a unit. Either a skink unit as Marcame proposes or a min sized TG or Saurus Warrior unit. You still have plenty of flexibility, well protected against ranged attacks and points can come from core instead of character points. Often the "guard" unit is scoring and/or can chaff/anti-chaff a bit, giving you more value than the Sphere of Shielding. 16 TG with Muso and Banner works pretty well IMO.

    Thx for the new hot fix. Seems like there has been worked on many things, but some issues are stil not resolved. Not much to add except from What has already been said, but Overall a bit dissapointed.
