    If you think the text can be improved then that is enough justification for someone to do so, but to me, the rules are very clear. The Dreadmills attack in the melee phase is a melee attack but not a close combat attack (se the VS book). The BRB ruebook states (chapter 14) that there are melee attacks (and ranged attacks) and the most common type of melee attacks are close combat attacks, but that not all melee attacks are close combat attacks.     Give all troops a boost to their discipline with between +1 and +3 (most +2, but this would be unit dependent). Change SiN so that it gives a boost to a characters Di but not to a units. Finally allow the Di that is distributed through commanding presence to be modified using SiN (so a Tyrant gives out Di 10 as long as unit has 3 ranks etc). This would solve most of the issues but would also cause new ones so would need a very thorough analysis.

    All, I would just like to let everyone in the Vermin Swarm community know that I have decided to leave the Army Design Team effective immediately.
