  • Lookee here and assemble the hosts! The Quickstarter team requires you to muster a warband and display its might fearlessly, for new braves to be caught by awe and desire Saurians of their own to field on tabletop. Hissss!

  • Dear Warlords and High Priests of the Ancients, @piteglio have been working together with @DJWoodelf, @Berlioz and the other lads of the QuickStarter TaskTeam on the new premade armylist for Saurian Ancients. For many new players of the future generation, this list will probably represent the "first contact" with our game, and specifically with the SA faction. We want it to look great, and we think we can only achieve this with your help. So, long story short, get your models up on tabletop with…

  • This is getting better and better. great progress!

  • As proposed earlier in here, it would be nice, sensible and somewhat groundbreaking if T9A for the first time ever introduce a 25mm base Undead infantry unit of some sort, to catch all Gors, Orcs, Saurians, Warriors of Darkness and so on that happens to be big and mounted on 25mm bases. While all the ordinary 20mm based Undead infantry already catch the various mortals on 20mm bases such as Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Skinks, Grotlings. Perhaps a unit upgrade to all the various Undead infan…

  • Hi! Just a heads-up in the sandy, bone-rattling, pyramid-infested Undying Dynasties section of the site that we are running a gallery contest for your dear legions of Pharaonic skeletons and constructs, thanks to @piteglio. Check it out, and support the first impression of Undying Dynasties given to new players. smile.png Cheers

  • Hi! Just a heads-up in the skull-dangling, mushroom-infested Greenskin section of the site that we are running a gallery contest for your dear savage hordes of mites and monsters, thanks to @piteglio. Check it out, and support the first impression of Orcs and Goblins given to new players. Cheers

  • You cannot possibly remain polite and keep a straight face when addressing someone taller than 130cm. Dwarf-approved! Neat colour scheme, freehand painting and great going with bowstrings!

  • Dear Hierarchs and Pharaohs of the Dynasties, @piteglio have been working together with @DJWoodelf and the other lads of the QuickStarter TaskTeam on the new premade armylist for Undying Dynasties. For many new players of the future generation, this list will probably represent the "first contact" with our game, and specifically with the UD faction. We want it to look great, and we think we can only achieve this with your help. So, long story short, get your models up on tabletop with painted sc…

  • @piteglio: No problem at all! Copy-paste is easy peasy. The secret key to running contests smoothly. I'll keep track and add as we go along, no worries. Don't be shy nudging if I sometime would be too busy to notice. Cheers

  • Dear 'Eadbashers and Chiefs of the unruly hordes, @piteglio have been working together with @DJWoodelf, @oste lollo and the other lads of the QuickStarter TaskTeam on the new premade armylist for Orcs & Goblins. For many new players of the future generation, this list will probably represent the "first contact" with our game, and specifically with the OnG faction. We want it to look great, and we think we can only achieve this with your help. So, long story short, get your models up on table…

  • Cheers! In case of inspirational interest, written by a new CDO member: Quote from Braided Beard: “Given how the Chaos Dwarfs seems to be almot monotheistic in their veneration of Hashut, I thought that it could be interesting to discuss the various aspects of the Father of Darkness that can be worshipped by the Chaos Dwarfs. As he seems to be a god of many talents. To start I'll propose my list of aspects of Hashut Arkoth the Lord of Chains - Patron of slavers and slavery, is said to give stren…

  • Yes, I laughed a bit when I read the sculptor's name. Great surprise and great choice on RA's part! Adrian, are you at it again? I thought you had lots of other projects for other factions in your pipeline. Are Infernal Dwarves that addictive?

  • Canadian artist Matthew Klaas de Witte over on Deviantart accepted a commission from me to draw us his own vision of Ethiopian Dwarves for the Ninth Age: Be welcome to leave a comment for him under the artwork on Deviantart. de Witte has a deft hand at playing with historical styles in fantasy artwork, as can be seen in his gallery! Remember that this illustration could be used in the full army book for Dwarven Holds proper. Cheers! BWcXygC.jpg

  • @Ghiznuk: Thanks for sharing! Fascinating for sure. And something for us to make use of in Kegiz Gavem in some form. I keep imagining stone golem guardians standing still in niches amid highland masonry structures, with trees growing up on both sides of them. ___________________ Canadian artist Matthew Klaas de Witte over on Deviantart accepted a commission from me to draw us his own vision of Ethiopian Dwarves for the Ninth Age: Be welcome to leave a comment for him under the artwork on Deviant…

  • Russian Alternative is at it! s64wd0r.jpg

  • @Ghiznuk: Good points! If it's prefered art contests trail the released full army books, then that's certainly doable. And emphasizing what does not yet have artwork is just the right thing to do. Perhaps even run a narrow theme on "Terracotta Army" (with opponents and anything around being optional) or "Barrow Legion versus others"? Depicting Dark Gods would be a sweet theme! @Eldan: Very good advice! I think we should act on it rather soon. @tiny: Roger that! Can any moderator edit posts? (E.g…

  • @ferny: Small, to judge from the size comparison shot. But perhaps they could work as Orc young 'uns, maybe in the shape of Grotling swarms?
