For me core it's usually 10-11 IF Tribesmen with Great Grass Sky + Bruiser dart and/or Scraplings 10-11 Bruisers wth Great Grass Sky + 2x Scraplings The min unit of scraplings is good for most objectives I think, especially Breakthrough and Spoils. Usually I deploy them behind a unit of Yetis+Hunter or Tusker Cav and simply follow in their path, the big unit goes to cc while the Scraps go for objective.

  • Great stuff. Having seen it in person I can say the pictures do not make the models justice! They look even better IRL.

Maybe some kind of Minf/Mcav archer with wings? Sounds pretty generic I admit but something like Kurnoth Hunters with wings of some sort or Mierce miniatures Hrafnmanns with bows

  • Ah ok I didn't realize the disc was supposed to be a full moon sorry about that With that being the case I'd say fleur du lys

  • Good job. If I may leave a comment about the wolf sign, I don't like the bat very much. How about a crescent moon?

    Looks excellent! Kudos for that

  • Very good work! Nice to see some interchangeable detail pieces. A thought about the hoist though: I think the pole should be longer. As it is now you'd need to bring the load up the stairs to hoist it...where? :p kinda defies the purpose of the hoist itself imho!

I like them. They are a decent shooting platform that can move around and be a threat in CC if need be. The obvious contestant is SGR. 3x SGR 540p vs 2x Sloops 530p = same cost Reapers have longer range and the two fire modes make them more flexible, although I find myself using multishot much more than single ones (single ones are too dicey for my taste). With S6 AP10 MW d3 the multishot can threaten things that can otherwise be problematic. Sloops are slightly tougher (same Res, same HP, but 1…

  • Those stairs are ace. You're doing a great job! I admire your dedication to it you seem to make progress every day.

  • Quote from Morgan_Treeman: “so the way it works, you can accumulate up to 6 veil tokens in the middle of your turn, but after seiphon the veil, you cannot have more than 3 in your pool right? ” Correct

(340€ I think I can make a decent army right ? ) Else I dont mind spending 500 more to get more ” Go for it, the only missin…

  • I'm tentatively going back to HBE and for the moment my second caster apart from MoCT Prince is a naked Pyro adept. Reason is exactly what @Caledoriv stated, Flaming Swords. You can use it on shooting wpns as well as combat and it also counters Regen nicely. On the flip side you don't get any AP... but all in all it's worth it because it is a strong spell you can cast from Turn1 making prioritization harder for your opponent.

Quote from MxM: “There are 2 monters on the start collecting that can be mounted as Aurochs OR Mammoth, while there is 1 (that can be mounted just as Auroch) in the box with 4 tuskers + monster that cost 10$/euros more than the box with just 4 tuskers. In the start collecting you also get 1 hunter, 2 cats and 2/3 Yetis, making more than half of a good wildheart list. ” That box is not on sale anymore as far as I know. Anyway I agree that it's a very good purchase. Regarding the "smaller" start c…

Well you're not wrong if you buy 1-3 big monsters, typically 2 Aurochs and 1 Mammoth. And I'd say 1 or 2 of those should come in a Start Collecting box. All this assuming GW products

  • For Tuskers, maybe Ogre chariots? For the bigger monsters I have no idea.

  • ...didn't see any meaningful combat until it was too late, did maybe 1 wound but was inconsequential at that point in the game The search continues

  • Flowcharts are a good idea, it will help many players I'm sure. I've seen more than one who is not very clear on the exact order you have to do stuff. Although to be fair there are sort of flowcharts at the beginning of chapters. It would just be beneficial to have them all in the same place.

  • @Werepire just for your information, I'm trying out Bloodletter tonight Will let you know my impressions.
