...Bloody forest... damn tree-huggers and daisy-eaters... burn 'em all...
Hello my fellow dwarf lovers!!
News flash! I just totally randomly found what may be the best deal I've ever seen for vintage dwarf models on Ebay!
Here it is. It's a HUGE list of models including tons of Core plus the Anvil of Doom, the Dwarf King on Shield bearers - the vintage, old metal ones it looks like! And it includes two dwarf gyrocopters!
There's no minimum starting bid required, right now it's up to $26.00 (my current bid bid ), and there's about three days left. I'm trying to get it for the anvil of doom and the king on the shield bearers, which those alone would make it worth winning this one.
And HEY! If you want, we could arrange it so that if one of you ends up winning it I could split the cost of it with you and divide up the models between us.
If this doesn't get a lot of attention on Ebay and the bidding doesn't get too crazy, this lot of models has the chance to go for a super cheap price! It's literally like over 100 GW models! Even if it gets up to $100 it's still an amazing deal! This is literally nearly an entire army. That anvil of doom and dwarf king on the shield, those vintage kits ALONE go for $100 each on Ebay.
Here's the full list. It's over 100 models guys!:
battle standard bearer (metal)
2 engineers (one metal one plastic)
lord on shield bearers (metal)
Rune smith (plastic)
Rune smith with anvil (metal)
Dwarf lord on lodestone (plastic, pictured with the artillery)
3 gatling cannons
2 regular cannons
1 battle for skull pass cannon
1 bolt thrower (metal)
2 copters, one of each variant
28 dwarf warriors with great weapons (one not pictured, these are the old sculpt)
6 metal slayers
58 dwarf warriors with hand weapon and shield
15 with blunderbuss
a few extra banners and drums
6 miners with pickaxe

That’s not a good auction IMHO.
If you want those two models PM me, reckon 2/3 of that plus shipping is possible
shields is far cooler than Alarik... And with the plastic rune Smith included, he can replace whatever the hell is happening with that guy on the wire. It's not a terrible auction over all.
honestly though, that lord on the shields is far cooler than Alarik... And with the plastic rune Smith included, he can replace whatever the hell is happening with that guy on the wire. It's not a terrible auction over all.
A lot of the Black Hat dwarf models referenced in the Miniatures library here seem to be no longer in stock and don't exist on their main site any more except through the direct link (i.e. you can't search for them or navigate to them thru the site). Are they discontinued, or is there some other avenue to get them that people know of?
There is a "plastic party promotion" on the Avatars of War site. And since 4 of 9 sets are Dwarfs I thought someone may be interested. My PLOG - restarted on the Ninth Age! - updated:

Hadn't thought of sharing here, but since someone pointed out that these miniatures could be used for Dwarven Hold armies (and I know Titan Wargame Dwarfs of Vorganash are bought by a lot of Dwarf collectors), here goes anyway:
Admiralty Miniatures: Deathspitter Blunderbusses
Titan Wargames: Dwarf Dragoons (front & rear rank)
very nice models, but 22mm seem to be very small. .If fight was fair, you have planned something wrong
Hrm, I can't seem to find that 5-man dwarf collection on his marketplace.
They are not in store yet, but soon will appear
