The 9th Age needs YOU!
The 9th Age is made possible by our many dedicated volunteers, who commit their time and energy to the game we all share. Your T9A staff members are from many different countries, bringing a wide range of skills and expertise to the team. You could join us too, we are always on the lookout for new and dedicated volunteers who can help to continue and grow the project. If you have talent and time, you can work in the T9A team and truly be a part of the project.
Below you will find a list of T9A teams, as well the details of what each team does, who would make a good candidate for those teams and how in need of recruits they are. HR Team Support (HR Support)
Our HR Supports provide invaluable help to our HR Team, supporting with recruitment and placement of new staff, and addressing issues staff members have with each other or personal problems.

Moderator (Mod)
Mods are responsible for moderating and managing our public forums, they maintain order and ensure our community is able to interact in a respectful and positive way.

Background Team (BGT)
The BGT works to create and bring the setting of the 9th Age to life in fiction, supplementing our published books, as well as standalone publications.

Army Community Support (ACS)
The ACS is our connection to the communities for each of our 16 factions. They gather feedback, answer questions, and serve as a link between our design and background teams and our players. Each faction has dedicated members, working hard to represent their communities.

Public Relations (PR)
Our PR Team works to promote the 9th Age to potential players, as well as keeping the community informed about news and developments within the project. They are responsible for maintaining our presence on social media, and making announcements through the website.

Art Team (Art)
The Art Team creates artwork for our books, and is responsible for developing the visual appearance and themes of the 9th Age setting.

Layout creates the appearance of our published works, weaving together background, art and rules to create the high quality items available for download on our website.

The TA Team retrieves and analyses data from 9th Age tournaments, providing essential feedback for point changes and design amendments for books in the beta phase of design.

Our Product Search Team searches out new miniatures from supporting or third party companies, as well as other commercial products which may be of interest to the community.

Essence of War Team (QS)
The Essence of War Team supports the Essence of War ’Quick Play’ rules set, aimed at providing an easy entry point for players new to the game or the hobby and a streamlined ruleset designed for quicker games for experienced players.

Admnistrators (Admin)
Admins are responsible for the technical infrastructure of the 9th Age website. They keep everything running, and ensure that our players are able to access the rules and forums needed to participate in the community.

The RCT takes on the role of clarifying and simplifying our rules, to ensure they are consistent and easy to interpret correctly by our community.

Community Engagement (CE)
Community Engagement brings together the content creators within our community, who help us to promote the 9th Age, showcase the wide variety of activities within the game, and build excitement among our players.

Management team, by invitation only.
Executive Board (ExB)
The ExB is the body responsible for managing and steering the 9th Age project. It has the final decision on any management decisions and liases with all Team Leads.
Advisory Board (AVB)
The AvB is drawn from senior staff, and consults for the ExB on project decisions, as well as performing important support duties.
Rules Team (RT)
The RT is the central point for 9th Age game design, guiding the evolution of the game and creation of its rules. They oversee the work of other teams involved with design work, and set out the guidelines for other teams to follow when designing.

HR provides support to 9th Age staff members, manages recruitment and placement of new staff, and addresses any issues staff members have with each other or personal problems.
